Abstract THE COMPOSITIONS BASED ON DIORGANOPOLYSILOXANES, WHICH CAN BE CURED AT ROOM TEMPERATYRE TO GIVE ELASOMERS, WHICH HAVE HITHERTO BEEN USED, IN KNOWN MANNER FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF MOULDS, SUFFER FROM THE DISADVANTAGE THAT THEY DO NOT STAY IN PLACE, THAT IS TO SAY THAT THEY RUN OFF VERTICCAL OR INCLINED SURFACES, IF THEY ARE NOT PRE: VENTED FROM SO DOING BY MEANS OF SHUTTERING, BEFORE THEY ARE CURED AND/OR THAT THE THE ELASTOMERS PRODUCE BY CURING THESE COMPOSITIONS CANNOT ALWAYS BE DETACHED FROM SURFACES WHICH ARE ROUGH OR POROUS IN SUCH A WAY AS NOT TO DAMAGE THE EALSTOMER WITHOUT THE CONJOINT USE OF A RELEASE AGENT.
