Abstract AN IMPROVED CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR ALKOXYSILANES AND ALKOXYPOLYSILOXANES IS DISCLOSED WHEREBY ALCOHOL REACTANTS ARE INTRODUCED INTO A COLUMN BELOW THE INTRODUCTION POINT OF HALOSILANE REACTANTS OR IN THE LOWEST ONETHIRD OF THE COLUMN, TEMPERATURE IS MAINTAINED ABOVE THE BOILING POINT OF THE ALCOHOL, AND THE PRODUCT IS REMOVED BELOW THE POINT OF INTRODUCTION OF THE ALCOHOL.
