Abstract POLYMERS ARE PREPARED BY THE REACTION OF POLYISOCYANATES AND CERTAIN POLYAMINE DERIVATIGES IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ORGANIC ACID, A SALT OF AN ORGANIC ACID OR A MINEAL ACID. THE LATTER COMPOUNDS ACCELERATE THE REACTION EVEN IN THE ABSENCE OF MOISTURE NORMALLY USED TO UNBLOCK THE KETIMINE OR ALDIMINE GROUPS OF THE POLYAMINE DERIVATIVE.
