Abstract A METHOD OF RECYCLING ION EXCHANGE REGENERANT CHEMICALS WICH COMPRISES ELECTROLYZING THE REGENERANT CHEMICALS IN A THREE-COMPARTMENT CELL IN A MANNER SUCH THAT THE CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM, AND OTHER IMPURITY METAL IONS ARE PRECIPITATED AND CAN BE REMOVED. THE RESULTING SODIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION IS THEN RECYCLED INTO THE SYSTEM.
