Abstract CURABLE ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITIONS ARE PROVIDED AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THEM, COMPRISING ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE HAVING ONE OR MORE ALIPHATICALLY UNSATURATED IMIDO ARGANO RADICALS ATTACHED TO SILICON THROUGH A CARBON-SILICON BOND. THE CURABLE ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITIONS CAN BE IN THE FORM OF BLENDS OF SUCH IMIDO-SUBSTITUTED ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE IN COMBINATION WITH AT LEAST ONE OLEFINICALLY UNSATURATED MONOMER, SUCH AS N-PHENYLMALEIMIDE, BISMALEIMIDE, SYTENE, ETC., OR AT LEAST ONE POLYMER, SUCH AS POLYCARBONATE, PPOLYVINYLCHLORIDE, ETC., OR MIXTURES THEREOF.
