Abstract
Abstract This material handling attachment is adapted to be mounted to the boom of a backhoe. The attachment includes a base assembly for rotatively mounting a shaft assembly having a tiltable axis of rotation. The shaft assembly includes a hook at the lower end providing a transverse loading arm suitable for manipulating bales of coiled wire. The shaft assembly is rotatable through more than 180* of arc by means of a hydraulic actuating assembly providing a compound linkage, which is connected at one end to the shaft assembly and at the other end to the base assembly.
