Abstract

Abstract A circuit for supplying the final anode voltage to a CRT from a horizontal output transformer has a voltage tripler circuit. A circuit comprising a diode coupled in series with the parallel combination of a resistor and capacitor is coupled across the transformer. This prevents ringing during the scanning time, and hence, improves the regulation of the output voltage.
