Abstract
Abstract A multiple stage pressure filter for suspensions of fibrous materials including a housing having a cover and a fixed upright filter basket, a rotor concentric thereto and a rotor drive mounted therein. The rotor is provided with at least one carrier connected to a shaft of the rotor drive, a second filter basket provided on the rotor, and at least one fixed scrubbing member associated with the second filter. In one embodiment, the carrier is arranged under the second filter basket while the scrubbing member is secured to the cover.
