Abstract

Abstract A waste treatment system which receives liquid and solid waste, macerates the solids to form a slurry and pumps the slurry to a treatment tank. In the treatment tank the solids are separated from the liquids and retained in the tank, while the liquid effluent is treated chemically to render it pathogenically harmless and discharged from the system.
