Abstract Synthetic lubricating oil composition comprising a major portion of an aliphatic ester-base oil having lubricating properties formed from the reaction of a pentaerythritol or trimethylolpropane and an organic monocarboxylic acid containing an amine salt of a substituted rhodanine.
