Abstract

Abstract To oxidate materials in water, a chamber is filled with air. Thereafter, raw water is pumped in, thus, compressing the air. Then the air from the top of the vessel is pumped to an air diffusion plate at the bottom. The operation is continued as a batch operation for the desired length of time and, thereafter, the treated water removed from the chamber.
