Abstract
Abstract A METHOD FOR PURIFYING AN ATOMOSPHERE OF RADON AND RADON DAUGHTER ELEMENTS WHCIH MAY BE CONTAINED THEREIN BY CONTACTNG THE ATMOSPHERE WITH A FLUORINATING SOLUTION, WHEREBY THE RADON AND RADON DAUGHTERS ARE OXIDIZED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE FLUORIDEDS. THE FLUORIDEDS DISSOLVE IN THE FLUORINATING SOLUTION AND ARE REMOVED FROM THE ATMOSPHERE, WHICH MAY THEN BE RECIRCULATED.
