Abstract
Abstract A digital computer control system operates a boiling water nuclear reactor and a steam turbine in an electric power plant. The computer applies feed forward control to the reactor system and to the turbine inlet and bypass steam valves to meet plant load demand within throttle pressure constraints. The plant is operated by the computer in the turbine follow mode, or the coordinated mode.
