Abstract
Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR MODIFYING THE SURFACE OF A POLYOLEFIN FILM BY HEATING SAID FILM IN A THERMAL MEDIUM AND THEN CONTACTING SAID FILM WITH A TREATING LIQUID. THE THERMAL MEDIUM IS SELECTED FROM VARIOUS KINDS OF INERT LIQUIDS WHICH DO NOT REACT WITH THE POLYOLEFIN FILM AND THE TREATING LIQUID IS SELECTED FROM VARIOUS KINDS OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS WHICH MAY CONTAIN OR DO NOT CONTAIN A HIGH MOLECULAR SUBSTANCE OTHER THAN THE POLYOLEFIN OF THE FILM.
