Abstract
Abstract A method of manufacturing tubular articles wherein the open ends of a pari of elongated tubular members are closed by corrosion resistant inserts having flange portions overlying the radial end faces of the tubular members. The members are then aligned and surrounded by an insulating jacket provided with radially inwardly extending circumferential beads which abut against and are sealed to the respective flange portions of the inserts so as to fixedly secure the latter in the open ends, whereafter the jacket is severed between the beads thereof.
