Abstract STABILIZING FIBER- OR FILM-FORMING POLYESTERS, ESPECIALLY AGAINST HEAT AND HYDROLYSIS, BY ADDING AND MELT-BLENDING THEREWITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF AT LEAST ONE ARYLENE-BISCARBODIIMIDE AS THE ESSENTIAL STABILIZING AGENT. THE RESULTING STABILIZED POLYESTER PRODUCTS ARE ESPECIALLY USEFUL AS FILAMENTS OR FIBERS IN TIRE CORDS.
