Abstract A PROCESS FOR DISPROPORTIONATION OF SATURATED HYDROCARBONS WHICH COMPRISES CONTACTING THE SATURATED HYDROCARBONS AT A TEMPERATURE BELOW 850* F., AND MUCH MORE REFERABLY BELOW 800 F., AND IN THE PRESENCE OF NO MORE THAN 5 WEIGHT PERCENT OLEFIN, WITH A CATALYTIC MASS HAVING A GROUP VI-B METAL COMPONENT AND A GROUP VIII METAL COMPONENT.
