Abstract HIGH YIELDS OF RAPID CURING EPOXY RESINS DERIVED FROM 1,3-DIPHENOLS AND HAVING THE FORMULA: 1-(HO-CH2-),2-(OXIRANYL-(CH2)N-O-),4-(OXIRANYL-(CH2)M-O-)- BENZENE WHEREIN M AND N EACH HAVE VALUES OF AT LEAST 1. THESE RESINS CAN BE CURED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND CAN BE USED FOR A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS INCLUDING ADHESIVES, PROTECTIVE COATINGS AND/OR ENCAPSULANTS FOR HEAT-SENSITIVE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS USED, FOR EXAMPLE, IN THE MANUFACTURE OF FUZES.
