Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 15
Claim 1
Independent Claim 18 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the pigment is an inorganic pigment having a hydrophilic surface.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 27 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the halogenated hydrocarbon contains up to four carbon atoms having a boiling point in excess of the ambient temperature.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 36 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the pigment forms a slurry on mixing in which the concentration of the pigment in the slurry is at least one percent on a weight to weight basis.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 27 words
A process according to claim 4 in which the concentration of the pigment in the slurry is at least 10 percent on a weight to weight basis.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 28 words
A process according to claim 4 in which the concentration of the pigment in the slurry is in excess of 20 percent on a weight to weight basis.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 23 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixing is effected in a cylindrical mixer mounted to rotate about its longitudinal axis.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 49 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixture of pigment and said organic liquid contains the pigment in an amount of between five to 15 percent by weight and the volume of the mixture is at least 40 percent of the total volume of the mixing vessel.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 49 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixture of pigment and said organic liquid contains the pigment in an amount of from 15 to 20 percent by weight and the volume of the mixture is at least 30 percent of the total volume of the mixing vessel.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 48 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixture of pigment and said organic liquid contains the pigment in an amount of greater than 20 percent by weight and the volume of the mixture is at least 10 percent of the total volume of the mixing vessel.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 48 words
A process according to claim 10 in which the mixture of pigment and said organic liquid contains the pigment in an amount of about 25 percent by weight and the volume of the mixture is from 50 to 70 percent of the total volume of the mixing vessel.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 21 words
A process according to claim 1 which the mixing is effected within a pipe which is rotated to effect the mixing.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 31 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixing is effected in a pipe having an internal helically threaded shaft member which shaft member is rotatable to effect the mixing.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 20 words
A process according to claim 7 in which the vessel is rotated at from 50 to 150 revolutions per minute.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 22 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the mixing is carried out for a time of from 30 to 90 minutes.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 13 words
A process according to claim 1 in which the pigment is titanium dioxide.
