Abstract
Abstract An endless belt is described having a tensile-loaded elastomeric body supporting circumferentially spaced cogs or teeth. These cogs contain an embedded member extending transversely to the direction of rotation of the belt, in combination with an outer fabric layer positioned along the surface of the cogs. As a modification, the side of the belt opposite the toothed side may carry load transmitting elements for dual utilization of the same belt.
