Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 208 words
In a piece of furniture, in combination, a wall; a door carried by said wall and comprising hinge means secured to said wall and to one edge of said door for mounting the latter on said wall swingable about a first axis between an open and a closed position; and pivotable means mounted proximal to said hinge means for pivotal movement about a second axis parallel to said first axis, and being arranged to engage and urge said door to closed position only in an initial phase of movement of said door towards open position and in a terminal phase of movement of said door towards closed position, said pivotable means including a mounting support secured to said wall, a stud member having a block portion journalled in said mounting support and provided with an elongated opening through which said second axis extends, said block portion having an end plate one side of which faces towards said stud, and cooperating abutments at least one of which is provided on said one side of said end plate and at least one other of which is provided on said mounting support for determining the respective end positions of said stud when said door is in open and closed position, respectively.

Claim 3
Dependent Claim 90 words
In a piece of furniture as defined in claim 1, said mounting support being a bracket having two side walls each provided with a recess facing the other side wall and with an exposed edge face; and wherein said stud member and block portion are movable to and from a position which they assume when said door is in open position, said block portion being configurated and positioned for covering said recesses and being flush with said edge faces when said stud member and block portion are in said position.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 54 words
In a piece of furniture as defined in claim 1, further comprising a housing secured to said door, said stud being mounted in said housing for said movement about said second axis and said housing comprising a wall portion positioned for abutment with said stud when said door moves towards said open position thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 27 words
In a piece of furniture as defined in claim 3; further comprising a hinge housing mounted in a recess of said wall extending along said one edge.
Claim 6
