Abstract

Abstract A process for the manufacture of decorative flooring surfaces which comprises bonding fragments of material to the floor to be surfaced, filling in the gaps between the bonded fragments with a grouting composition containing as essential ingredients a hydraulic cement, a fine particle size filler, water and an organic polyisocyante allowing the grouting composition to harden and then grinding or otherwise treating the hardened mass to expose the fragments of material and provide a smooth surface.
