Abstract
Abstract Textured polyester yarn is prepared from multifilament yarn by drawing at a draw ratio of 1.3 to 2.0, and false-twist texturing at temperatures above 200*C. in a continuous process. Preparation of the starting yarn by melt spinning at 3,000 to 3,500 yards per minute is illustrated.
