Abstract
Abstract A flame and after-glow retardant composition is prepared and incorporated into paper products. The composition is a dry, powdered material consisting essentially of about 2-75 weight percent zinc borate or barium borate, 2-75 weight percent antimony oxide having a maximum particle size of 100 mesh, and 15-85 percent of a solid, suitable organic halide source.
