Abstract
Abstract A microscope slide to be used for a histological specimen is provided with a transparent metallic fluoride coating, and a biological specimen adhering to the coating. The histological slide is prepared by providing a thin transparent coating of a metallic fluoride on one side of a glass slide, and a biological specimen is applied to the coated side to effect an adhesion between the coating and the specimen.
