Abstract THE LIQUID PHASE CATALYTIC HYDROGENATION OF COAL TO LIQUID AND GAS PRODUCTS IS IMPROVED BY THE PRETREATMENT OF THE CATALYST WITH HYDROGEN, WHEREIN THE PRETREATMENT TEMPERATURES ARE LIMITED TO ABOUT 200-400*F.
