Abstract
Abstract An improved process for polymerizing a vinyl monomer in the presence of a photoinitiator by irradiating the vinyl monomer with a beam of wave energy is set forth. The improvement comprises using an effective amount of a triorgano-substituted phosphine and a sulfonyl halide in combination as the photosensitizer.
