Abstract A liquid Rhodamine dye composition prepared by reacting a Rhodamine Base with a dialkyl sulfate or concentrated sulfuric acid and a saturated aliphatic glycol, polyaklylene glycol, or glycol monoalkyl ether at from about 100* to 160*C.
