Abstract SUBSTITUTED DICHLOROSULFENAMIDES ARE PREPARED FROM DICHLOROMETHYL SULFENYL CHLORIDES BY REACTION WITH A PRIMARY OR SECONDARY AMINE. THE SUBSTITUTED DICHLOROSULFENAMIDES ARE PESTICIDALLY ACTIVE AND PARTICULARLY USEFUL AS PRE-EMERGENT HERBICIDES.
