Abstract
Abstract A bag-forming machine adapted for use in the home employs a compact housing having rotatably mounted therein a roll of longitudinally folded thermoplastic sheet material. A sealing station is disposed beneath the roll and utilizes a stationary anvil surface on which a resistance wire is mounted A pivotally mounted, manually actuated sealing bar urges a selected transverse band of the film plies over the wire until a desired sealing and cutting action has been effected.
