Abstract
Abstract Novel fuse heads and a process for making them in which a suspension of a primary explosive composition is made in water to which a small amount of one or more organic hydrophilic polymers is added in the proportion one to 10 percent by weight of the dry primary explosive composition. Bridge wires are immersed in the suspension and removed with the adhering material and the fuse heads so produced are allowed to dry.
