Abstract
Abstract Disclosed herein is an adjustable control assembly for an automobile radio receiver to provide simple alignment of shaft center positions on the receiver with respect to apertures in the dashboard of an automobile. The radio receiver is generally provided having adjustably mounted volume and tuning control shafts at both ends of the front plate of the housing thereof. These shafts are attached to a frame, which may be moved through a rack and pinion engagement to slide in a lateral direction within the receiver housing, thereby the volume control shaft and the tuning control shaft being so correctly positioned in the apertures in the dashboard.
