Abstract
Abstract An article containing hardenable synthetic material and a method of making the article, particularly a laminated article in which the core of the article is formed of a deformable textile member having protuberant portions which diminish in height when the textile member is stretched. While the member is stretched, it is impregnated with synthetic material and is then permitted to return to its original shape. One or more cover layers are applied to the member and bonded thereto by hardening the synthetic material.
