Abstract
Abstract Gas depolarized cell which includes a vent to allow the pressures interior and exterior of the cell to equalize. The vent comprises an aperture or volume closed by electrolyte-phobic, gas permeable material. This material is preferably a portion of the cathode of the cell. End cap crimping arrangements are also provided for sealing the ends of the cell.
