Abstract THE INVENTION RELATES TO RESOLE RESINS PRODUCED BY REACTING UNDER BASIC AQUEOUS CONDITIONS FORMALDEHYDE WITH A PHENOL WHICH HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY PREPARED BY PARTIAL ALKYLATION OF PHENOL WITH A SPECIFIC MIXTURE OF CARBOCYCLIC COMPOUNDS CONTAINING BETWEEN 8 TO 13 CARBON ATOMS.
