Abstract A towel or other absorbent cloth is provided at one end thereof with a strip having gripping means for quick attachment to, and easy disengagement from, a receiving strip accommodated on an article of clothing.

A quick release attachment means for toweling and the like which comprises in combination: a receiver means provided with a plurality of flexible loops adapted to be affixed to an article of clothing; a piece of folded toweling; and gripping means provided with a plurality of hooks affixed to said toweling and adapted to be attached to said flexible loops of said receiver strips by manual pressure only and to be disengaged from said receiver strip under a manual pulling action only, the backing of said gripping means being integrally affixed to the folded portions of said piece of toweling underlying said gripping means.
