Abstract PIGMENTED SOLID PARTICLES OF FILM-FORMING POLYMER, SUIABLE FOR USE IN POWDER COATING COMPOSITIONS, ARE PREPARED BY VOLATILISHING THE VOLATILE LIQUID CONTINUOUS PHASE OF A PIGMENTED DISPERSION OF FILM-FORMING POLYMER. THE POLYMER IS DISPERSED BY EMULSIFICATION IN VOLATILE LIQUID IN THE PRESENCE OF A DEFINED POLYMERIC AGENT. VOLATILISATION IS PREFERABLY EFFECTED BY SPRAY DRYING.
