Abstract POWDER COATINGS CAN BE FORMULATED FROM THERMOSETTING POLYESTER RESINS AND A CROSSLINKING AGENT, SUCH AS A CONDENSATION PRODUCT OF ALDEHYDES WITH MELAMINE, UREA, OR BENZOGUANAMINE. SUCH POWDER COMPOSITIONS WHEN APPLIED BY FLUIDIZED BED, ELECTROSTATIC FLUIDIZED BED OR ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY PROVIDE FOR COATINGS THAT HAVE PARTICULARLY GOOD EXTERIOR WEATHERABILITY, GOOD ELECTRICAL INSULATION PROPERTIES, EVEN AT HIGH TEMPERATURE, AND GOOD RESISTANCE TO ABRASION.
