Abstract
Abstract A novel tapered leader for fly fishing comprising a strengthsupplying core, composed of a butt and a tippet end, and a weight-increasing coating which increases the weight of the leader but does not appreciably affect the stiffness of the leader. The leader may be knotless or sectional and joined together.
