Abstract

Abstract An end mill is used to form a reduced thickness step in an indefinite length of strip material. If, due to tolerances and other factors the reduced thickness material is slightly too thick, it is swaged to a reduced thickness following which terminals are formed of both the thinned and original thickness material.
