Abstract
Abstract A hoisting rope is provided which has a core surrounded by strands having an insulated electrical conductor in their middle. The core can be a fibre core or a reinforcing steel core or any other type of core which may be found desirable. The resulting rope has a longer life and an improved overall performance.
