Abstract
Abstract An aromatization catalyst is provided comprising from about 0.5 to about 30 percent of a Group VI B metal oxide on a support comprising a mixture of titania and alumina, wherein said titania is present in amounts ranging from about 1 to about 60 percent by weight. The catalyst is employed to promote the conversion of paraffins, olefins, cycloparaffins, cycloolefins and mixtures thereof to aromatics by contacting said paraffins and/or olefins with said catalyst at temperatures ranging from about 400* to about 1200*F.
