Abstract
Abstract Dialkyl-methyl sulfonium chlorides, having at least one alkyl group of at least four carbon atoms are produced by the reaction of a higher dialkyl sulfide with methyl chloride at 60*-100*C in the presence of specified quantities of hydrofluoric or hydrochloric acid.
