Abstract
Abstract A novel antibiotic Minimycin characterized by a needle or pillar-like crystal form which is soluble in water and lower alcohols, but which is insoluble in nonpolar organic solvents, has been shown to be active against Staphylococcus and Colibacillus, which are ordinarily resistant to other antibiotics.
