Abstract
Abstract A liquid developer containing a gelatin toner for developing electrostatic latent images is made by cooling an aqueous solution of gelatin to produce a gelatin gel, adding the gelatin gel to a solvent which is miscible with water but is incapable of dissolving the gelatin and mechanically pulverizing to form a dispersion of gelatin. The finely divided gel powder is collected and added to an insulating carrier liquid.
