Abstract
Abstract In a nuclear reactor system, at least two independent measures of reactor core power are provided with one being dependent on neutron flux and the other on coolant thermal parameters. The two independent measures of core power are interrelated in a manner which exploits the advantages of each while avoiding inherent limitations of either to provide a more accurate determination of core power for a variety of system conditions.
