Abstract

Abstract The present invention relates to rotary knife cutting machines which sever a roll of material wound on a core into plural narrower rolls by utilizing two rotary knives that are opposed to each other on opposite sides of the work-piece axis and by having knife feeding means that advances one of the knives into the workpiece by a fixed merement ahead of the other knife all during the working cut.
