Abstract
Abstract Caliper in the cross direction in webs of extruded foamed plastic produced by longitudinal slitting of a tubular extrusion in controlled by differentially heating the extrusion die circumferentially about its axis. This can be accomplished by locating a plurality of independently controllable heaters around the die.
