Abstract

Abstract An air cooled internal combustion engine housing having an inner wall, an outer wall spaced from said inner wall to form a cavity therebetween, and a high density metallic material substantially completely filling the cavity between the two walls. Cooling fins are provided on the outer wall to dissipate heat from the engine and a hood having a laminated layer of high density material and an outer protective layer thereon surrounds a portion of the housing.
