Abstract

Abstract A method of preforming solder and soldering a plurality of leads to a plurality of terminals by using a single heating step. A solder strip is applied transversely to the axis of a plurality of terminals. The solder is pressed or rolled in place and shaped to be thinner in cross section in the area between the terminals.
